Yesterday our cofounder Gijsbregt held a talk about Sports and Data at the monthly Online Tuesday event in Amsterdam.
Below you find the presentation which focuses on the value of data for storytelling and personal branding for athletes. A use case you hardly encounter for data right now, but one that will grow quickly, we expect. Týrsday is working on integration of data for many athletes and their stories.

Other speaker were Vosse de Boode. Vosse is the performance scientist at AFC Ajax. She talked about how Ajax uses data to develop talent, monitor athletes, provide feedback and many more uses.

The first speaker was Thomas Boeschoten. He combines his job at the University of Utrecht where he studies (social media) data with publishing of catenaccio.nl. This is a Dutch blog on data-journalism in football.
