It is already being called the comeback of the year: the golden medal of judoka Marhinde Verkerk at the inaugural European Games in Baku. Almost a year after torn cruciate ligament Marhinde was back at her best when it mattered, claiming gold at the event which was also the European Championships.

During her recovery Marhinde not only worked hard on getting fully fit again, but she also helped Týrsday by designing our logo and brand brook. To see her reign in the dojo again, like the god Týr in the old days, makes her performance for us even more heroic.
